Born in Sydney in 1985, Chantelle began her creative journey from a young age. Coming from an Italian background, having attended primary school in Italy, she was introduced to the world of art and was encouraged to continue her studies in art throughout her youth. She maintained her interest throughout high school and followed on to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the College of Fine Arts in Sydney, and later completed her Honours Degree in 2008. She currently lives and works in Sydney.

I describe my particular practice of painting to be 'visionary' and I am inspired by the work of many Fantasy artists and Surrealists. My work also has a strong spiritual influence, as from a young age my mother would teach me about the universe and its cosmic powers, our connectedness with nature. Her involvement in spiritual development has grown over the years and continues to have an influence on my perceptions of life and awareness of our inner selves.
